One thing I found interesting in both the TV special about the movie and in the movie, the level of sound effects DURING songs is VERY high -- like when dancers are dancing, you hear their feet SLAMMING on the ground, like songs are all clogging numbers
Loathing is particularly loud -- every door slam or flick of clothing is super loud
I guess it was a choice, because these sounds have to be added in and chosen to be so loud. It's not a huge thing, but definitely noticeable |
