| I just saw a Facebook post from City Center stating that the Encores! production of THE WILD PARTY is being replaced by WONDERFUL TOWN. A very drastic last-minute change. It says it's because of "scheduling conflicts," so I wonder whose schedule was involved. Which participant in THE WILD PARTY was deemed so crucial to the project that the show couldn't go on without him/her/them? Also, WONDERFUL TOWN seems an odd one to repeat, since the first Encores! version, starring Donna Murphy, is especially well-remembered as it transferred to Broadway. |
