"I don't see Captain Smith taking that step. I feel that this dedicated man, who accepted this last journey even though he was supposed to have retired, staying with the ship to the bitter end,. But maybe that's just me."
Moreover, in the musical, Captain Smith has to stay alive long enough to deliver the immortal "Every man for himself" before the final plunge. |
