| I liked it a lot. A bit clunky in the exposition, but Lerner's lyrics were sharp and Strouse's music was gorgeous. Perhaps it was hard for audiences to like a show where the lead character is a fatalist who believes that if nuclear war happens, it happens. As his song says, "What are you going to do about it?" |
