| Worked with Strouse, and produced/directed the concert reading at The Green Room a few years ago (featuring both Liz Robertson and Len Cariou). I adore the score, but the book is a disaster. A truly, spectacularly terrible libretto. And, to be honest, I don't think audiences really wanted to sit in a theatre worrying about a nuclear bomb dropping in 1983.... |
