| Except that, aside from a few truly effective visuals (the "iceberg" effect on the cyc at the end of Act I, for instance), I wouldn't have wanted Titanic to transfer without some radically rethought design and staging. That staging worked well enough for the concert presentation, but not for a Broadway production. But yes, musically, it couldn't have been better. |
